Joseph Tojarieh graduated summa cum laude (top 5%) from UCLA in 2006. He earned his law degree in 2009 from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he also served as an editor of the law school’s International and Comparative Law Review. Mr. Tojarieh received his law degree in 2009 at the age of 23. He was one of the youngest people in his graduating class of over 400 graduates. That same year, he was admitted to practice in California and started his own law practice.

Since then, Mr. Tojarieh has been a zealous advocate for employee rights, collecting millions on behalf of California employees. Mr. Tojarieh has been selected to the Super Lawyers California Rising Stars list, a distinction received by only 2.5% of the attorneys in Southern California. Mr. Tojarieh was also selected as an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating™ by Martindale-Hubbell®. This rating is the highest rating an attorney can get from other lawyers.

Having started his law practice at a young age and with less than a few thousand dollars, Mr. Tojarieh knows how it feels to be the underdog. That is what fuels his passion for defending the rights of employees, who often find themselves in a weaker position than their employers. He is undeterred by the size or financial resources of an employer. Mr. Tojarieh works tirelessly to fully and expeditiously achieve justice on behalf of all his clients.

He has represented employees in various industries, including assisted living, education, hospitality, retail, aerospace, automobile, construction, janitorial, security, real estate, entertainment, technology, transportation, manufacturing, and medical.

Mr. Tojarieh handles employment law matters in every county in California. He is admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court and all California state and federal courts.

He is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA), the leading professional organization for California employee rights attorneys. CELA’s mission is to help its members protect and expand the rights of California employees through litigation, education, and advocacy.
